North Country Rivers’ base resort complex; located in the upper Kennebec Valley Region of Maine, is renowned for having “the best snowmobiling in the east". This region receives an annual snowfall of over 10-feet! The region also contains some of the most beautiful and pristine wilderness in the United States. Our resort base complex is located right “on" Maine’s Interconnecting Trail System (the ITS). This system is comprised of approximately 13,000 miles of groomed trails; stretching to all the way to Canada. The North Country Rivers base complex in Bingham, Maine, is on the ITS 87 portion of this trail system. Our location, and being in proximity to this portion of the ITS, allows visitors to ride north to the Forks and Jackman (and into Canada), west to the Rangeley Lakes region, and even northeast to the Moosehead Lake region (and even Baxter State Park). This trail, and the many feeder trails, simply offer hundreds and hundreds of miles of open terrain, incredible scenery, unlimited trip potential, and awesome riding for all skill levels. Bring your own snowmobile or rent one locally. When you stay in one of our cozy Maine log cabins on the Kennebec River, you’ll be able to return from any trip and park your sled right at your front door! North Country Rivers is simply THE best option for a winter snowmobile adventure vacation! Check out our Maine snowmobiling video below to learn more about all that we offer! |
