Visiting Maine’s great outdoors? Why not stay at one of North Country Rivers’ campgrounds? We’re ideally located near the Kennebec, Penobscot, and Dead Rivers in Maine – perfect for rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, wildlife tours, and more. In addition to offering Maine white water rafting trips, we offer a variety of camping and lodging options and customized outdoor adventure trip packages to suite virtually anyone.

Campers have full access to washrooms, private showers, in-house and local stores, indoor and outdoor recreation, a game room, and many other nearby local sites for swimming site-seeing, walking, hiking, golf, shopping, movies, and even theatre! Also, our large main lodge (where you check-in), includes a restaurant and a pub, summer live entertainment, Wi-Fi access, and is a hub of activity.

Tent Camping

Tucked away in the trees at the south end of our sprawling complex, all you need to do is bring a tent, sleeping mats, pillows and a sleeping bag (or, in the summer, your own blankets and a pillow), and you’re “good to go". Each tent site also includes a large fire ring and a picnic table.

Our Kennebec-Dead River Resort has great RV (recreational vehicle) camping sites for RV lovers! With NO length limit, water and electrical connections (20/30/50 amp service), on-site dump station, cable, and Wi-Fi, our RV campsite is the ideal place for your next RV vacation.

Cabin Tent Camping

Is “glamping" more your style? Our large Cabin Tents may be for you! They’re equipped with electricity, running water, air conditioning, an outside firepit, picnic table, and chairs. The cabins have framed wooden bunks on three walls, and sleep 4 to 8 people comfortably. All you need to do is bring sleeping pads, pillows, and a sleeping bag.
